Getting Ready for the Big Day
I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last posted. Busy doesn’t even come close!
Let’s see, since I last posted, we had our “big” ultrasound and the tech confirmed that the baby is a girl! Very exciting. We’ve ordered her crib (Starlight by Stanley Young America). I’ve bought some of her bedding and the paint for the walls. We’re just calling her Elizabeth today, since that will probably end up being her middle name. Speaking of baby . . . we’re 26 weeks today. We had a checkup on this past Thursday. All seems well . . . I’ve gained between 12 and 13 pounds.
This past week was our 4th Anniversary! I had a meeting at church, so we celebrated Saturday night. Dinner was great, but the movie was sold out.
But this week belongs to Nathaniel. Today were his one year pictures. He was tired. We tried to get him to nap, but he would not! He behaved really well in the beginning, but really wanted us to hold him. His “cake smash” photo did not go well at all — he did not like icing on his hands. I ended up with icing all over me. We may go back some time this week and take a few more shots. He was asleep within five minutes of leaving the studio! He has certainly been having a great time with Aunt Bloss.
